Das PasswordCreationField unterstützt den User dabei, sichere Passwörter zu erstellen. Über eine visuelle Komplexitätsanzeige wird es dem User erleichtert, unsichere Passwörter zu erkennen und zu meiden.

Grundlagen

Das PasswordCreationField ist eine Component zur Unterstützung bei der Erstellung sicherer Passwörter. Es bietet eine visuelle Anzeige der Passwortkomplexität und erleichtert es Usern, unsichere Passwörter zu erkennen und zu vermeiden. Standardmäßig werden vordefinierte Passwortregeln angewendet, alternativ können eigene Richtlinien konfiguriert werden. Für die Eingabe bestehender Passwörter sollte hingegen ein reguläres TextField mit dem Type password verwendet werden.

Achte bei der Verwendung eines PasswordCreationFields darauf, dass ...

  • standardisierte Richtlinien genutzt werden, sofern keine spezifischen Anforderungen bestehen.

  • Darf nicht durch HaveIBeenPwned verboten sein

Mit zusätzlichen Buttons

Das PasswordCreationField kann mit zusätzlichen Buttons ergänzt werden. Diese Erweiterungen sind flexibel einsetzbar und sollten im direkten Zusammenhang mit der Passworterstellung stehen.

Optional kann ein CopyButton integriert werden. Dadurch lassen sich erstellte Passwörter direkt in die Zwischenablage kopieren.


Passwort Richtlinien

Neben den Standardrichtlinien können eigene Passwortanforderungen definiert werden. Diese sollten klar formuliert und für User nachvollziehbar sein.
